Our Bed and Breakfast is known locally as a Chambres d'hôtes located in the French region of Indre between Châteauroux and Le Châtre. We are located approximately 250 km south of Paris. When you visit our Bed and Breakfast you will find it is surrounded with a unique sense or charm and relaxation. Our 200-year-old farm offers amenities such as a pool, Jacuzzi, and a tennis court. Moreover, we have a building with a wine cellar and a game room with billiards and a pinball machine. The surrounding countryside is a scene of gently rolling hills, which are covered in splendid green during the spring and summer months. The nearby picturesque villages have a flavour of old world charm and the local population are very friendly and always have a ready smile for tourists. The entire farm has been completely renovated and meets the modern requirements for comfort, relaxation and fun, while still capturing the essence of its' unique history.

Cottage near Montipouret Starting 2005 , you can rent your own cottage in the beautiful natural scenery of  Montipouret.

Many of our visitors enjoy bicycling in the area, playing tennis, or swimming in our pool. Some simply like to lay in one of the hammocks tied between the fruit trees in our large, beautifully appointed garden. Others make friends with our chickens, which walk around the property freely and provide our guests with eggs for breakfast.

We are located a short distance away from many castles. Not far from our home is the house where George Sand, the famous female writer, lived for most of her life. Her home is now a museum and daily tours are available. There are other fun day trips that can be made to such villages as Montlucon, Châteauroux and Bourges . Each small village offers it own unique charm, ambiance and quaint shopping areas. We can also provide you with some French lessons during your holiday. There is a private teacher we can call on if you are interested in improving your language skills. Come enjoy the hospitality offered at Maison Voilà.
